Diner Aesthetic Images made with Stable Diffusion

These AI images were both created with NightCafe, using the stable diffusion option. The prompt I used was, “Exterior of a diner at night in the rain.” These are the kind of images that you could definitely go down the AI rabbit hole with. They weren’t quite what I wanted – I would have liked something with more of a mid century modern aesthetic, but I liked the mood of them. I am merely posting them here today because today I noticed that “Diner Aesthetic,” was trending on Pinterest. I think I’ll leave them here and come back to them later.

Art Every Day

I spend a lot of time online looking at images or art and design. I tell myself it’s for the purpose of inspiration, and it helps to keep me working. But does it though? Sometimes I immerse myself in finding images. Hours go by and I have produced nothing. I’ve merely been hunting, collecting and sorting art, not making it. The next part of the process is that my inner critic starts berating me: “You’re a phony! You call yourself an artist but all you are doing is endlessly scrolling, clicking, posting. You produce nothing!” That guy is such an asshole.
